Water/steam circuit at GETEC PARK.SWISS
SWAS (Steam Water Analytical System) monitors the energy production
GETEC PARK.SWISS AG operates a total of 3 energy centers at the Muttenz site (Schweizerhalle), which are used to cover energy requirements. Ongoing investments are intended to ensure that GETEC is always at the cutting edge of technology and can thus guarantee a reliable energy supply.
Advantages of SWAS
-
Less downtime
-
Better plant efficiency
-
Reliable measurements
-
User-friendly maintenance
Requirements
By monitoring the steam cycle (boiler feed water, boiler water, condensate lines) for limit violations, the aim is to prevent corrosion and dangerous deposits that could lead to poorer efficiency or even premature shutdown. At its Muttenz site, GETEC produces energy products from solid and liquid waste fuels, such as superheated steam for power generation, operating steam at 12 bar, hot water, as well as ice and compressed air. All these products must be permanently available.
Our solution
A water/steam analytical system was installed for monitoring. The SWAS (Steam Water Analytical System) is a complete solution pre-assembled on panel. In addition to sample cooling, piping and flow monitoring, pH, conductivity, cation conductivity, silica and trace oxygen are measured.
